DM: Everyone needs a Wisdom save to avoid the Frightful Presence of *THIS*! (Dramatically slams an Altoids tin down on the table.)

Players: Um…

DM: It’s Tiamat, I just don’t have the mini for it. So, it’s uh… “Tiamint,” get it, “Tia. Mint.”

RPG minis are wonderful little figurines. People love minis. But, they are kind of a pain because they are expensive, bulky to store, tricky to transport as many as you need, and they are not great for the environment. Traditional paper minis solve some of those problems and have amazing artwork, but flat paper doesn’t give a good sense of three-dimensional volume, and they feel delicate rather than brutish.

Cube Minis take paper minis firmly into the third dimension. Each cube has artwork on four sides, some stats on the back, and a tombstone or treasure chest on the bottom for the moment when that monster goes belly up. All creature sizes are included: tiny, small, medium, large, huge, and even gargantuan! When the DM thumps one of the big Cube Minis onto the battle mat, there’s no mistaking its imposing presence.

Storage and transport work really nicely. Cube Minis are made sturdy to stand up to hands-on usage. Tiny, small, and medium Cube Minis can be packed densely into most of our dice box products or almost any box you have at hand. But get this: the bigger sizes are themselves containers, and they nest. Size large Cube Minis can hold 8 of the little ones. Size huge can hold 27, and a nested size large. A size gargantuan Cube Mini can hold up to 64 little ones, and 8 large or 1 huge. You could pack everything for an epic final battle with a BBEG and minions into about the space of a four-pack of energy drinks.

During play, you can use the interior space of big Cube Minis for treasure or clues. Whichever PC strikes the final blow gets to flip the bad guy over to the tombstone or treasure chest icon and open it up like a big ol’ RPG Kinder Egg. Everyone will feel the anticipation when they are just about to open the box. Or, an unlucky PC might get swallowed!

Like all our products, source files are available as Google Drawings, so you can make your own Cube Minis as needed for your players or campaign. Cube Minis make great (personalized) gifts for your hard working DM or devoted players as a keepsake to remember the time you spent together. Your DM’s kids can play with them -- in the other room. Use them IRL to show off your RPG style at home, work, or school.
