"This dugeon is a meat grinder, and combat is bogging down. To spice it up we need... a pepper grinder!"
Players have many ways to track the hit points of their characters: like erasing and rewriting, using separate scratch sheets, special ordering a pair of spin-down d10s, or repurposing their mom's knitting counter. We humbly propose a new solution that blows them all away.
A Twist Counter is about the size of a shot glass and twists like a pepper grinder. Two dials show the tens place and ones place, allowing you to track hit points up to 99. Each dial has ten distinct positions that generate a visceral snap as your character's HP count down. Toss it in your backpack and it will still have the same value next week.
Aside from tracking your dwindling life force, each Twist Counter also has a secret space inside for a shy mini, those dice that are too darn good for tonight's group, or a small snack to bribe the cleric into healing you first.
